Daaji visited the Gurugram Ashram and had a remarkable time with the abhyasis discussing, meditating, and sharing anecdotes.
Word quickly spread around the ashram, bringing a long line of joyful abhyasis in no time at all! Daaji patiently sat outside the cottage, signing book after book and lovingly presenting it to hundreds of abhyasis who lined up to avail the rarest of rare opportunity to receive his book from his own hands.
Daaji’s day began with breakfast with a senior officer from the Prime Minister’s Office where a fruitful discussion on many topics took place. Daaji was invited for lunch by the Hon’ble Vice President of India Shri Dhankar and had an engaging discussion on spirituality and its far reaching influence on political consciousness.
Daaji proceeded to Gurugram ashram after lunch and arrived there at 3:45 PM. He was welcomed with showers of rose petals as his car entered the gate and the joy of all abhyasis eagerly waiting for him was evident in the bright, smiling faces of children and adults alike. After resting for a while, he proceeded for satsang at the meditation hall right behind the cottage. The sitting was deep and lasted 50 minutes.
Daaji gave a talk after satsang. "Babuji said Remembrance must lead you to Love and I feel that this Love must rise further into deep reverence, immense respect, immense adoration for the person whom we Love. That is Bhakti. ..When you Love something and you do it on your own volition, Time flies because you are soaked with Interest, soaked with Love. So adding this spice of Love/Bhakti into our Practice takes us to a next level otherwise Meditation itself can become a burden. And if that happens it will be a tragedy." After the talk Daaji invited the abhyasis to ask questions.
The session: watch the below video.
The joyful mood continued in an informal conversation with abhyasis in his cottage afterwards where he shared amusing anecdotes from earlier days. It was a special blessing to watch him in that light and relaxed mood and the heart constantly prayed that he may always be happy and healthy. During the course of the conversation he decided to give autographed copies of The Wisdom Bridge to those who wanted them. Word quickly spread around the ashram, bringing a long line of joyful abhyasis in no time at all! He patiently sat outside the cottage, signing book after book and lovingly presenting it to hundreds of abhyasis who lined up to avail the rarest of rare opportunity to receive his book from his own hands. This was indeed a surprise treat for the abhyasis gathered at the ashram and all available copies of the book were sold out in a couple of hours! It seemed as if it was his benevolent way of meeting as many of us as he could in that interaction.
