Kanha Shantivanam 5th July 2022

Daaji decided to rest for most of the time today. However, he interacted with some of the eminent people today and also visited the water conservation area.

Daaji went for his walk at 7.10 a.m.

At 10.15 a.m. a few seekers from Babuji’s time met Daaji in his office. Daaji conducted meditation, which lasted 40 minutes.

Daaji went on rounds of the entire Kanha campus between 11.20 a.m. and 1.20 p.m. He first visited the Madhuvanam pond, which has been taking a new shape and inspected the work that was going on. After this, he visited the nursery. From there he proceeded to the Saireddyguda village to inspect the water level in the pond that is coming up there. After spending some time there he went to Damarlapally and then to Madhur, inspecting the ongoing cultivation from the west gate of Kanha up to the Madhur gate. He also visited the pond in Madhur while he was there.

Daaji has been quite concerned about water conservation and has been frequently visiting the water bodies to ensure proper measurements are being taken for conserving the rainwater through rainwater harvesting.

From 6.20 to 6.40 p.m. Daaji conducted meditation for the seekers assembled in his house.

At 7 p.m. Daaji met the seekers who were waiting for him in his office. One of them was Sheetal, a neurologist from Guwahati, who has also been involved in research work. Daaji spoke to her about the research being carried out to study the impact of meditation with Transmission on the human brain. ECG and MRI scans conducted as part of the studies reveal changes in the frontal and occipital lobes. Mentioning that there have been some extraordinary findings so far, Daaji urged Sheetal to come up with her own observations and findings, and compare the two.

Thereafter, Jaswant and Anuja Bhandari informed Daaji that they had joined the Kanha Coaching Center (KCC). Daaji was happy and said, “It’s really nice that you are joining KCC.” He expressed his intention to create a campus far away from the city, which would include classrooms, hostels, and all other amenities that students need so that they don’t have to leave the premises if they don’t wish to. Daaji asked Jaswant and Anuja if they could come up with a design plan for such a campus away from the city.

Later Amrutha Varshini from Dindigul showed Daaji the silver medal that she had won in powerlifting in the National games. She was very happy when, after  keenly seeing the medal, he wore it around her neck.

Daaji watched the presentation on the Madurai meditation hall project and left for home. One of the last activities that he engaged in, before calling it a day, was a discussion with Joshua Pollock regarding an upcoming book.
